What Is MDF, Really?

Medium-Density Fibreboard is made by compressing wood fibres with resin under heat and pressure. The result can range from low-grade shelving panels to high-density fibreboard (HDF) used in European flooring. Cuebera specifies EN 622-5 HDF at 840 kg/m³, then laminates every surface—including the underside—to seal out moisture.
